In his role as Securities Trader, Jake works closely with the Managing Director of Trading to implement the firm’s investment strategies by purchasing and selling securities and rebalancing client portfolios.
Before joining Reilly Financial Advisors, Jake previously worked as both an analyst for a private debt hedge fund and a financial advisor for a large wealth management firm. During his time at the hedge fund, Jake aided the Portfolio Manager on underwriting and investing in MCA lending, real estate bridge loans, and equipment finance. Prior to that, he was helping his clients to define their goals and implement comprehensive financial plans designed to help them achieve their goals through portfolio management and trading in their accounts.
Jake received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of San Diego and has earned the FINRA Series 66 license.
Jake loves watching sports, playing golf, hiking with his girlfriend and two dogs, cooking, traveling, and being a lifelong learner.
